Blockchain was a hot topic at CeBIT, with much discussion around the prospect of it being a disruptive technology.
At CeBIT faizod presented the first showcase of Charity Chain, a system for charitable giving based on Hyperledger technology. This distributed ledger technology has until now been used in the financial sector, in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in the food and machine building sectors to traceably document steps in processes.

Visitors came by to learn more about Blockchain and the Charity Chain application.
With the help of Hyperledger, faizod was able to develop and present a model for handling the use of donations across the globe using Blockchain. Hyperledger makes donating transparent; the donor is always able to see what happens with their donation.
