On Friday, 29th April 2016 Akash Kumar presents current issues of design methologies in multiprocessor systems.
In this talk, he will present a platform-based design methodology in order to minimize temperature-related wear-outs. Kumar will also cover concepts of approximate computing and how they can be used to address the problems shown by emerging power-wall in modern systems.
Akash Kumar received the joint Ph.D. degree in embedded systems from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Eindhoven University of Technology (TUe), Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2009. He has published over 100 papers in leading international electronic design automation journals and conferences on these topics.
