The Blockchain Train

At SPS IPC Drives 2017 we will be unveiling “The Blockchain Train.” This is a simulation showing the circumstances in which Blockchain can be used in supply chain and logistics. The train passes through and sends signals to various stations on a closed track. Meanwhile, data ist collected enabling predictive maintenance, billing and payment management, and monitoring and lifecycle management. The system reacts in real time and autonomously of certain conditions and behaviors, showing how Blockchain in combination with automation technology can create traceable and secure solutions for supply chain, M2M communication, asset management, and more.
